Parsons Marshall Psychology is an established firm of Expert Witness Forensic Psychologists, offering services throughout the UK.
Family Court Expert Witness Services
Our psychologists conduct assessments for adults and adolescents involved in care proceedings, pre-proceedings, and criminal law matters. Parsons Marshall Psychology is renowned for providing focused, reliable, and evidence-based reports for the courts.
We are now able to offer global family assessments including children aged 5+ years.
Our psychologists, all registered with the HCPC and chartered with the British Psychological Society, specialize in a wide range of medico-legal assessments, including:
- Assessments of parenting capacity, including intellectual functioning and its impact on caregiving
- Sexual offender risk assessment within a family context
- Risk assessments of violent behaviour in family settings
- Assessing a partner’s ability to protect children from abuse (physical, sexual, or emotional)
- Risk assessments of carers and whole family dynamics, particularly in the context of disputes or behavioural issues
- Parenting assessments, including risks related to abuse, domestic violence, and protection capabilities

Private ASD & ADHD Assessments
With appointments available from July 2025, we are excited to offer private ASD and ADHD Assessments for adults and children (combined assessments are also available). Our assessments are fully compliant with NICE Guidelines. Reports are issued within 4 weeks of your assessment and payment plans are available.

Our Psychologists undertake assessments of adults involved in Criminal Law Proceedings and provide reports for the Criminal Court, Solicitors and other agencies.
Mental Health, Personal Injury and ADHD assessments
We also offer private assessments based on a meticulous and scientific approach to reviewing current evidence-based research and on-going training with official providers. Services are available for private clients and referring agencies for a range of difficulties, including: ADHD, mental health, cognitive functioning, personal injury. We can provide reports for criminal, employment, personal injury, family and educational cases.
Forensic Profile Assessments
We also offer private healthcare assessments for individuals seeking a thorough understanding of their functioning, including a detailed assessment of personality, attachment, cognitive functioning and behaviour patterns. These reports will include a forensic exploration of an individual’s history and functioning for recommendations relating to lifestyle changes and habits, service signposting (for recommended intervention) and targets for therapy.
